Good job on the 1500. I thought that you would have gone under 18:00 based on your amazing 5K postal results. But, the important thing is that the last 700 was faster than the first 800. I am hoping that you requested a split for your 800. At least, all your 50s stayed under :39.

This is probably true. But do you think that your current distance cycle will help you out down the road? Do you think it'll help you finish your sprints faster when you get back to sprint training?

    Hi TJRpatt,
I hoped to go faster in the 1500, I'm going to submit my 800 split, I was a little faster in practice when I swam a strong 800, if I could swim it again I'd start out easier and concentrate on fast turns, hard push offs and long smooth strokes.

    Hi mctrusty,
I put down a layer of distance training to help finish my 200 IM faster, need to be very fast on Br & Fr. This summer I raced the 50, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, 5000 & 10000, I'm done with 1500s, 5ks & 10ks for now, back to strength & speed
