Chicken of the Sea has succumbed to stress and exhaustion and is taking a leave of absence, but will no doubt be back again in the future
it was nice to meet you. Hope you had a good 1500.
Don't leave us. You can still be here and take a break from swimming!
The lake has been perfect these past few days. Around 59-60 at 6 a.m. I even swam in a rainstorm, a bit unintentionally. Smooth waters. It's OK to swim for fun. You've done a TON of swimming this spring and summer. Time for a daiquiri break while you get your land legs back. Will look forward to further nuggets from Chick-o'-the-Sea when the time is right. Congrats on your swims at Nats! (OK, I give up: = a vaca? )
actually maybe I won't take a break from swimming. It's only been one day now and I really miss it. Maybe I'll just do something different instead...maybe some shorter cold water stuff in the lake. Invigorating!! The Canadian flag is the closest I can find to the Aussie flag Looking forward to swimming Big Shoulders with you, Bob!! I'll let you know how cold it is next time I go in.
Thanks Amanda, I am worried about the water being colder than I like. I didn't swim today. I went to the pool after work, stood there and looked at it for a while and said "not tonight!" I think I may take a run after the sun goes down!
