Commentary:

  • I'm going to have to change my little tag line on USMS profile because I clearly fell off the "recovering mega-distance addict" wagon with this one today. Again, not that this was Kostoff-ian or Salnikov-ian, but it was a monster for me. More than anything was how much I LOVED this workout.
  • Beyond the mere physical enjoyment of the workout, I really was able to calm down my mind and cool my emotions from the crap that's been masquerading as my work life since coming back from vacation. I emerged from the water in that super mellow, satisfied state with a very clear direction as to where I'm going to take myself professionally from here. I don't have all the answers, but I've got a path in mind that's exciting and new.

I always find it entertaining when people use an oxymoron for the title of their blog post.
