Run, core, swim

Was off yesterday, so had lots of energy today. Hit the treadmill at lunch and did the following run:
2 miles easy at 10 minute pace
1 mile alternating 1 minute easy with 2 minutes moderate
Did a quick core workout with 1 set of each of the following:
100 bicycles
30 good morning darlings
60 side crunches - 30 each side
30 good morning darlings
20 leg lifts
2 sets of 10 push-ups with Bosu ball
Swam late this afternoon:
800 easy
10 x 50 on :45
5 x 100 on 1:45
2 x 250 on 3:30
1 x 500
10 x 50 dolphin kick on 1:00
3 x 200 I.M. drill with 20 seconds rest
100 easy
4,000 yards
My son has just announced that he wants to do the local 5k tomorrow. I had thought about doing it as sort of a workout, but wasn't sure after working out as much as I did today.Guess I'm kind of on the hook now.
