Swim Workouts

Ande, That's a lot of quality work for one workout. Nice going. I'm going to have to try that one in February.

    Thanks, it was pretty tough,
I layed off my legs did most 2 beat kick
    just tried to stay smooth,
if I really opened up I'd crash & be in a world of pain

Tough workout! I would have been an unhappy camper when that last set of 5 x 100 was announced.

Is there a specific reason for doing so much fast work in one day rather than spreading it out over the week?

Those sneaky coaches...nice job on your workout.

    hey fort,
I'm not sure, I didn't write the practice, just showed up and did it.
I hoped she'd give us an extra minute rest after #10 in the 20 x 50's but that didn't happen. I was kinda surprised that we did hard 500's last Fast Friday and this one too and the 5 x100's at the end were pretty tough, I didn't have much left

    thanks chris
you had a great work out today
You're really putting in the work this season

Are you always happy with the given workouts? Do you have alot to say about the workout? Do you and your lane mates share the same goals?

Whitney wasn't kidding around with Fast Friday today.

It seems like I see your post here before I see your blogspot post show up on google reader. Do you care where we comment? Sometimes I don't comment because I read your workout here, then think that I should comment on blogspot, it isn't on blogspot, and when it finally is, I just click read and move on.

Keep up the good work, where ever you post.

Are you always happy with the given workouts?
usually, I sometimes modify sets to fit my plan for the day

Do you have alot to say about the workout?
    in what way,
right now my plan is to pretty much do the workouts as assigned, i tend to back off a bit on thursdays to rest up for fast friday

Do you and your lane mates share the same goals?
we want to swim fast and improve but probably not, we each have different
    beliefs of what is possible

I don't put specific goals on my blog
I tend to put general stuff like want to see how much I can improve from 1988 or how much I can improve over last year
