Couldn't stand it any longer

There has to be swimmers in North Dakota but this has remained as "never" (as in "never" any postings). Thought I'd try and get something started.

Jim, back awhile, I swam in a USMS Nats LC in North Dakota. After the meet I got lost in cornfields.

There were at least 30 members in 1989, when we had LC nationals in Grand Forks. I know of only one who died.

After perusing the GTD charts, lo and behold, it appears we've got at least three in the area and these two are doing a fine job.

There is a team of swimmers here in ND. We swim every morning at UND 6 am on the dot. I am a new member, just joined in July to improve my triathlon swim times but have never competed in a swim meet. Hope to learn more about these people who breathe water and have chlorine in the veins like I do.
