I drive a battleship grey 2006 VW Jetta TDI with a manual 5-speed transmission. Currently stocked with about 80% biodiesel from the Midwest.

Also a blue 2004 Saturn VUE with the 4-cylinder Ecotec manual transmission.

My commuter bike is a green Trek 7500 with Continental tires, eggbeater pedals, fenders, rack, etc.

My racing bike is a blue Felt C3 w/Continental kevlar-lined race tires, Shimano Ultegra parts, Speedplay pedals, and aerobars.

My VW is named Steffi. The Saturn is Bertha.

    I haven't named my bicycles.

I drive a Ford Sport Trac truck as a daily driver, but my real passion is bikes. I have four of them (well, one is a 125cc Scooter). I'm about to be 38 going on 21!

Here is my street bike, 2001 Yamaha FZ1 (145 HP)

Here is my trackbike. I'll be at Road Atlanta on her June 29. 1998 Kawasaki ZX6R (with a '99 built motor), about 105-110 HP.

Once during a commuting challenge I and a coworker canoed to work.

Re: What are the cars/bikes/cycles you drive?

I drive a '97 Saab 900 with 150k miles. It's a beater, but it starts and runs very reliably. And for a 12 year old turbo, it still runs extremely well.

    My wife's car is a 2003 Honda Element/dog transporter.

We are selling both in preparations for moving to Europe.

    Now for the bikes:
My wife rides a Lemond Buenos Aires (carbon frame with Shimano Ultegra components)
I have yet to buy a road bike, but I have been riding a Gary Fisher HiFi (full suspension, long travel mountain bike)
My new baby is a Gunnar Rockhound 29er!
OS2 steel tubing with a Vicious Cycles fork painted to match and a mix/match bag of parts both SRAM and Shimano.

Weel, I just returned from 4 days in Louisville. We had a four trip & toured the Muhhamad Ali boxing museum. It was very cool! The Gold Wing ran fine ,It got 38MPG in 1,800 miles.

A turbocharged 1978 280Z (hence got boost), a 1988 5.0 Mustang GT, a 1986 Chevy 1/2 ton pick up with 257,000 miles on it, and a 2001 Chevy Box truck. The last 2 for work and the other two for fun, especially the turbo Z

And now my friend, the first rule of Itialian driving, whats behind me is not important.

Nürnberg, Germany. It will be a great move for biking. I plan on using my rigid steel 29er as a commuter bike with the occasional foray into the woods of Southern Germany! Plus, living that close to Italy begs the question of where to get a good custom steel road bike? The Italians are known for making some great frames among other things!

Cool! I have been watching the Giro D'italy every night from 10 - 12. What a good race it has become. LANCE AS A DOMESTIQUE??!! He had a chance to pull ahead on stage 16, but was called back to help the team leader.

Bike - 1997 Gary Fisher Wahoo, copper - originally purchased for wild trail riding, but now sporting hybrid tires and a Burley Solo trailer

Car - Black GMC Envoy Denali XL - When my husband asked what I wanted I picked a Trailblazer XL (more dog room), and this is what he brought home. I think he hoped the cool trim package would make it feel less like a mommy-mobile. It's far cooler than the TB I looked at, so I'm not complaining. LOL

Thanks Oz, it's fun but I can't take any credit for it . . . unless you count picking the husband way back when (he's fun too).
