    I'd worry about him even climbing up that ladder--those waves were crashing pretty hard into the wall and one of them could easily have knocked him off before he reached safety. It seems as if he knew what he was doing, given that he was said to be casually toweling himself off after his swim. But as the saying goes, don't try this at home, kids!
