Not to leave anyone out but here are some more masters records that were broken during this past weekend.
As crazy as it sounds, Laura Val has set 42 world records this year. That is a Hall of Fame career in 12 months. Unreal.
No question Laura is very special, but, nothing comes easy, she trains a monster weekly schedule and earns these records with tremendous work.

I'd love to see what her schedule looks like.
Sounds like she's fully embraced [ame="http://www.usms.org/forums/showpost.php?p=220158&postcount=1485"]SFF Tip 265[/ame] for years
Happy Laps to you,

I write songs, you can hear 'em at:
At the US Swimming nationals (LC meters)
Ed Moses - 31
100 Breast - 1:02.11
200 breast - 2:14.5
these break the old listed records, but also Brendan Hansen is listed as age 30, so his times:
100 Breast - 1:00.31
200 Breast - 2:09.64
are the new records for that age group - and as he continues his comeback, we can expect even faster this summer.

Diann Uustal set a new WR today in W65-69 100 back, finishing in 1:17.95, breaking the old record of 1:18.81, set by Margit Ohlsson as recently as September 30. Diann also broke her own WR in the 100 IM, touching in 1:20.86
Here's an update for the table I posted upthread, what the world record progressions will look like shortly:

It ain't over! Margit's splits in the 200, on her way to her then WR 2:55.02, were 39.37 + 42.56 + 46.64 + 46.45 = 2:55.02. Clearly, Margit could split her race better. Who know how much faster she can go?! It ain't over!

You're a step ahead of Swimming World, fer gosh sakes. Swimming World wrote:
Star of the meet, true enough, but only 2 WRs, not three. If Swimming World had checked the FINA web site, they would have noticed a new WR in the 50 free, as of Oct. 23 of this year:Diann Uustal was the star of the meet, setting three Masters world records in the 65-69 age group ...
100 IM: 1:20.86 (old record: 1:22.46)

amazing they lasted through the suit era
That's approaching 40 years!
Hope they're aware of this
