Is there any preliminary information about pool availability for USMS swimmers during Olympia Trials?

    Re: Pools during Olympic trials

Pool time for masters swimmers during trials is expected to be available June 25 - July 2 from 7-9am each day. The pool is called the Kroc Center and I believe we will get 3-4 lanes each morning. The Nebraska LMSC will be paying for this benefit. At this time those are all the details I have but suffice to say when more details become available they will be posted.

Looks like the Kroc Center has open swim all day. Here's their May drop-in schedule:

    Re: Pools during Olympic trials

Hello, I am the Chair for the Nebraska LMSC. Welcome to all USMS swimmers who will be in Omaha for Olympic Trials and for our LCN. Here is the information for the pool that I have reserved for USMS members during the week of the Trials. It is called the Kroc Center (http://www.omahakroc.org/). Our times are as follows: Monday, June 25 thru Saturday, June 30. There will be 4 lanes reserved exclusively for USMS member each morning from 7:00am to 9:00am. You will be required to show your current USMS card when you check in at the desk.

How to get to the pool? The best and quickest way is in a car. From the Century Link Center area, it is an approximate 10 minute drive. The best bet is to google directions from wherever you are staying. Take note, there is signage as you exit the Freeway that directs you to The Kroc Center so keep you eyes open. You can also get there via public transportation, one bus only, from close to the Kroc Center. It is a 45 minute bus ride and you will have a 15 minute walk at the end. Visit Metro Omaha for a bus schedule.

See you all in Omaha soon.

Erin, this is awesome! Thank you for doing this. Do you know how much they charge for their admittance fee?

THe use of the KROC Center is Nebraska Masters gift to all visiting USMS Members. There is no fee. For the 2008 Trials, I had organized a workout pool and scheduled on-deck coaches. This time, I am only securing the pool. You are all on your on for workouts. Please remember we only have 4 lanes so be considerate of all who show up to workout. This is a 25 yard pool.
