Dual Meets with USAS

Has anyone hosted a Dual meet in which there are not separate locker room for 18+ and 18<??
How do you have the USAS Safe Sport?
We want to promote the hosting of USMS meets by our USAS team but we running into questions about how to handle their Safe Sport at these events.

I haven’t run a dual-sanctioned event, but I was involved in developing the dual-sanction program and I have worked a lot of USMS and USA Swimming meets.

I don’t see anything in the USA Swimming safe sport program that raises any concerns about adults and minors sharing a locker room. Does the LSC have any specific concerns about Masters, over and above concerns about other adults with access to lockers?

Personally, I see an adult presence in the locker rooms as a benefit to safe sport. It should reduce locker-room bullying and horseplay.

I suggest that any concerns be taken to Susan Woessner or Liz Hoendervoogt with USA-S. Both are extremely helpful and very willing to work with the clubs and LSC’s to address all aspects of safe swimming.
