My team mate, James Crabb is going in the 200 fly (seeded 22nd). I watched him train yesterday and he's an animal in the pool! He went to Trials last year and placed around 50th.

Interested to see what the young up-and-comers out there can do. Ledecky (more of an "already up and here"), Conger, Mann, Murphy, Szekely, Neal etc. Also looking forward to Conors Dwyer and Jaeger having breakout meets. I'd love to see David Nolan drop a great 200 IM, but that seems unlikely.

No Phelps is a real shame but at the same time has really opened up the men's meet.

    3:20.46 (27.88) 3:50.60 (58.02)

Has there ever been a USA Swimming national championship winning relay with 4 siblings? Momma and poppa Zeigler must be very proud.

Looks like the Zeigers may have a chance at the four sibling relay. According to Blake Zeiger's Minnesota bio:
Personal: Born May 12, 1993 majoring in English and art daughter of Whitney and Peter Zeiger has four younger siblings: Brooke, Elizabeth, Rebecca, and John

By the way, it's pretty disappointing that hardly any teams are swimming relays at this meet. I realize it's a World trials meets, but it's also U.S. Nationals and you'd think there would be more relay entries. In the 400 free relay yesterday there were only two teams in the women's event and two in the men's.

It appears they went with option 2 or 3, since there wasn't another swim-off reported and Davis swam in the B finals and Gornay in the C finals.

And while it's more gold for the Zeiger sisters, it doesn't seem like a real national championship wins.

Re: 2013 Nationals & JRs + (World Championships Trials)

I just returned from watching the 2013 Nationals & World Championship Trials and three 2012/2013 USMS members made the team that will represent Team USA in Barcelona. Eugene Godsoe made the team in winning the 50 and 100 Fly and BJ Johnson was 2nd in the 200 Breast and this was the first selection for both swimmers in a meet of this level. They represent the Stanford team. Micah Lawrence swam to a second place in the 200 Breast and this was her second selection because she is an Olympian in this same event last year.

Besides Megan Jendrick, other past USMS members to make the finals in an event were Adam Mania, Josh Schneider, Nelson Westby, Tim Phillips, Erica Erndl, Cullen Jones, and Anthony Ervin. Madison Kennedy was 9th just missing the finals in the 50 Free.

At our Australian Swimming Championships/trials, Linley Frame (41) came 9th in 50 Breast and 10th in 100 Breast (32.32 and 1:11.31 - new improved W40-44 records).
