    Pneumonia Open postponed to March

I was bummed this morning when I discovered that the meet entry deadline for the Pneumonia Open had passed while I was on vacation. Then I received this email:

The boiler's gone down at the pool, forcing us to postpone the Pneumonia Open at Sand Point Country Club. The new meet date is Saturday March 2, 2013. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Why March? There was no meet slotted for that month, and we were concerned the new boiler wouldn't be fully operational until closer to the holidays in December, which would severely impact attendance. So think about the March 2nd meet as a run-up to PNA Champs! Of course, it's still the Pneumonia Open, so there will be coffee, hot chocolate, flapjacks and the works.

Thanks and sorry again for the inconvenience. More information will be forthcoming very soon regarding the meet deadlines, refunds (if needed), etc.
    So now I'm feeling better

So I guess you won't be in Coeur d' Alene for the SCM meet? That would be two meets two weekends in a row for you. That's very James-like of course, but you don't want to be like him.

It's way too early to say. I haven't planned out my winter and spring meets yet.
