Bond --- James Bond

I just saw the new Bond film. Very new feel to the aging Bond.
Now to the question. What type of gun does he use??
I think it was a Walther, but what type & model?

I have a PPK. It's a nice gun - small but it shoots like a bigger gun.

Actually, this "darker side" of Bond is truer to the original author's character.

I went to a large gun shop 7 asked why so few Walthers were on hand. His reply that they are good , many others now have better safety features.
I now am looking into Sigs more deeply.

The darker Bond is more engaging than some of the cartoon bonds of the 90's.

I have a Sig SP2022 also. It is also a very nice gun.

I went looking for a 22 for my wife to learn to target shoot & found myself finding many toys for myself! I think a revolver would be better than a semi for her to start.

I bought my wife a Buck Mark 22. It is not a revolver, but it is accurate and very easy to shoot. The good part is that you would enjoy shooting it too.

Thanx for the info. I went to Cabellas & held a Buck Mark. Very nice & small enough my wife would be able to handle it.

I think I have a winner ----- Kahr CW 9 compact with a 9mm punch. It has been recommended by a few cops as they carry it also.

Well -as of12-13-12 Illinois has 6 months to write a law concerning carry laws. I will be contacting the politicos to tell them I am for it. The state can make some $$$$ also, that in itself should be enough for our crappy state. Every police -fire -paramedic & political I know carries a gun , then why can't I protect myself from the crooks that all carry!

Just returned from Gat gun in Elgin & found the hand gun I think will be a good fit for my wife. A Ruger 22 cal, 10 shot revolver with a red laser sight.

I love Bond since he and MacGyver were my heroes as I grew up. That being said, I would be remiss not to mention Springfield Armory and their guns. They are top notch and cheaper than Sigs.

I have been quiet after the horror of last week. I think ar 15 & all 30 rounds clips & assualt type weapons will be banned very soon. they are not used for hunting in any context that I know of !
