    Thumbs up college walk on looking for some training tips

    Hi, I im a senior in high school this year and i decided to start swimming again after not doing it freshman sophomore or junior year i did pretty good my best time being a 23.88 in the 50 yard feestyle. I plan on walking on for swimming in college and was wondering if anyone new any workouts i could do to prepare or even any tips would be helpful. Thank you

    My suggestion is to join a local USA-Swimming club and workout with a coached program.

    If you choose to not join a club, than you can workout on your own and depending on which school you plan on attending and what events you want to focus on, you should plan on going between 20,000 and 100,000 yards per week. There are a ton of sample workouts posted on this forum; select those you like and that help you achieve your goals.
