The brew pub that I was going to suggest, Heroes Restaurant and Brewery, is already listed in the Meet Program on page 12. They have rolled out the red carpet for us on Thursday April 27 starting at 5pm. The microbreweries that I am most familiar with are all in nearby Redlands, Hangar 24, Escape, and Ritual. All can be found on tap in the area. Hangar 24 will be hosting the beer garden for the USMS social on Friday April 27, and is on page 8 of the program. During my last visit to Hangar 24 I asked which beers would they be serving for the Friday social and I was told it would be their popular varieties. Another good microbrewery is Sons of Liberty Aleworks in Norco.
    Awesome. Thanks!

Thanks Jim! Hopefully the IT team can get it up soon.

Well, they're getting older, too. They can't quite get it up as fast as they used to, but they can still get it up...eventually 😉

Eney Jones (55-59) has a DNF for the 1650. Does anybody know why? I'm guessing she was going for a split request, since she later swam the 1000.

You can't get a split from an event unless you finish the race, so that wasn't it.
The opinions expressed in the above post are mine and not those of U.S. Masters Swimming.

You can't get an official split unless you finish the race. I've seen some going for a split request and if they are not happy with the split and don't really care if it gets submitted or not just get out.

Great swimming Mark. I noticed your relay got DQed. Did someone false start?

Quick question: Did you or someone you know get the opportunity to watch Olympians such as Ryan Lochte and Nathan Adrian race at nationals? And if so, was it your first time seeing them swim live (i.e. not on television)? I'd love to feature you as part of an article I am writing about the meet. (Bonus points if you also got the opportunity to record one or more of their races.)

Send me an email at jeffswim@aol.com ASAP or write me a private message on this forum. Thanks!

Good pool and fast results posted. Poor rest rooms and changing areas.

Saw that Rich Abrahmans was DQ'ed in a fly event. He has so many age group records.
He is now in the 70 + group. What did a judge not like?
A judge did not like my side breathing in one of my fly events.

Why not? There's nothing illegal about side breathing.

And Camille Adams does the same today. Totally legal. Crazy hard (IMHO), but legal.
