    Getting good sleep with an injury: What works for you?

    Many of us have had shoulder injuries at one time or another, including me. Although I no longer have pain when I swim, my shoulder hurts at night when I try to sleep. Between joint and muscle stiffness, it's difficult to find a comfortable position to sleep in, so I don't wake up in pain.

    A couple of days ago, I came across this video when I was looking at physical therapy exercises for my shoulder. Once you get past the cheesy intro, there is a lot of useful information and tips. At the 5:47 mark, they give advice on the best sleeping positions for shoulder pain. I found their advice side sleeping worked when I positioned the pillows as recommended:
