    Repaired a Fastskin-will I be DQ'd?

I successfully repaired a rip in my Speedo Fastskin and am wondering if I would be DQ'd at a meet? There's an 8" strip of industrial seam tape (just like on the inside of the suit) under the arm going vertically. Thanks in advance.

If in doubt --- ask an official. I doubt that at anything other than Nationals it would be a concern BUT, ask if in question.

At Nationals this past weekend, I asked an official who asked another who asked another and the verdict was yes, I'd be DQd just for what was on the inside. You couldn't even see it from the outside so I should've kept my mouth shut!

Oops, ha ha, that's hard to enforce unless it's obvious.
