    Re: 2018 Tour de France

Day #18 of 106.3 of rolling hills with a mostly flat sprint at the end.
87.2 miles to go 5 leaders are off the front with the Peloton 1:02 back
    65.8 5 leaders --- P back 1:38
65.2 a crash of 15 includes Yates and Quintana both get back in it.
    45.7 5 --- P 1:45
    32.7 5 --- P1:09 nobody in the 5 leaders is within 2 1/2 hours of the leaders !!!
Yeah --- these is are boring miles to say the least.
17.5 ---all are caught in the rushing Peloton
Will Sagan have the body recovery to pull off a win at the line?
1 1/2 mile to go --Sagan is in 7th position
Two sharp turns in the last 11/2 mile spread out the top 20 fast riders.
At the line Sagan fades to 8th
winning was Arnaud DeMar who was dead last the last 2 mountain stages!! 2nd - Laporte 3rd --Kristoff Taylor Phinney 9th as the use is represented.
The top 3 are still at the same places.

Well maybe the 'boring" to me day on the flats will give the riders some rest for the last day in the mountains on Fri.

    Re: 2018 Tour de France

Day #20 is a time trial of 19.3 miles with some hills and technical turns.
The fastest time is -----Dumoulin in 29.4 mph.

1st ---Dumoulin 40 min. 52 sec. Team Sunweb
    2nd --- froome 40 -53 Team Sky
    3rd--- Thomas 41 -06 Team Sky
    4th ---Kwiatkowski 41 42 Team Sky

This moves Froome back into 3rd overall. This should be the finishing order at the end of the final on Sun.
Some sprinters will vie for the last stage win but it is tradition to not attack the Yellow Jersey on the "parade stage" win Paris.

    Re: 2018 Tour de France

Lawson Chaddock I think I misspelled his name. was injured the very 1st day of the T D F with a fractured shoulder and went thru all the stages to finish the tour being the last rider each and every day but, still making the time cuts!!! That shows some guts!
