    2021 National Championships

U.S. Masters Swimming announced its 13 national championships for 2021 on Wednesday.

The organization will return to the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C., for the 2021 USMS Spring National Championship on April 29–May 2. The facility, which has hosted two Spring Nationals and multiple NCAA championship meets, recently underwent an $8.2 million renovation to add a fourth pool. Nearly 2,000 swimmers are expected to compete.

The 2021 USMS Summer Nationals will be Aug. 5–8 at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. The pool hosted the meet in 2015, a competition that drew nearly 1,000 participants.

Well, the fabulous hosts and facility in Greensboro 2012 topped themselves in 2016 with the addition of the Beer Garden. Now, they've added a fourth pool. Can it get any better?

Seriously, folks, Greensboro is a great swim town, premier facility and ever-so-reasonable hotel rates. Not to be missed

Oooh, neat. I'm going to corral some of my new Canuck swimmer friends and roadtrip for this one.

Bit of driving involved at Spire (not a lot of close hotels) but I love both pools/facilities.

KOA as long as it does not rain. Then you would need to swim to the pool!
