Open Job Title: Masters Swim Coach
Reports to: Robert Watson, Director of Aquatics
Status: Part-Time
Salary: Hourly plus incentives, based on experience

Qualifications

At least 5 years coaching experience (Masters Swimming preferred)
History of successful swimming (All-American, NCAA, Masters National Ranking)
Excellent reputation in the New York Metropolitan Masters Swimming arena
Must have complete knowledge of and experience with competitive swimming including recent stroke enhancements and Masters Swimming rules
Ability to outline a year-long practice plan that takes into consideration Open Water, Triathlon, and Masters swimming seasons

Primary Responsibilities

Motivate, teach, and create success for our team members
Coach must be willing and able to support team members in Masters Swimming Meets, Open Water Swimming Events and Triathlons as well as understand the fitness goals of our non competitive members
Must be able to avail him or herself for private training & instruction both before and after team coaching sessions for additional compensation
Must be intricately involved in luring additional swimmers to our club as well as motivate existing members to participate in competition.
