Ink a line through it like an ex-wife. Make sure you save space on your skin for the new round of unrequited lovers.

    Re: Tattoos on Swimmers

Got a new one last monday. (just an excuse to get out of the pool for a week...)

It's about on the lt shoulder, 8" x 5" Maori fishhook- Hei Matau. It is made up of several symbols including a corus, shark, sun, and i even squeezed in some waves and a non maori outline of a swimmer in roughwater. I am going to continue the swim/passage over water theme from different tribal designs down my arm. I know how tribal art is looked at, i just say take the time do the research and meaning into it, don't just pick it out of a tattoo book.

I sharpie tattoo my event #, heat, and lane for each race of the day at meets. Washes off in 24 hours. I believe I did get a tattoo once in the mid 90's on one of my shoulders.

But you're not sure? Isn't it still there?

I believe it is Kirk. I just can't see it, it's on the back of my shoulder lol. My kids think I should replace it with something "cool".

I don't have any, well I have a dot on my right palm where I stabbed myself with a pen.
Honestly I'm working on a song about tattoos on women.

Right Bum Quetzalcoatlus. I tis terrible and I hate it but live with it. I got it young. It looks like a rubber chicken with a reptile's head. Nothing like the picture I gave to the guy who did it.

My canvas is empty. I've had artists look at all the open spaces for their artwork on my body.

No, just means you have to stay out of the water for a week or two while it heals. I have 9 over various body parts.

    Re: Tattoos on Swimmers

It really depends on your preference. I personally don't want one because I know getting one hurts a lot! But I might consider it if it didn't hurt. LOL
