    Well, this is the furthest I've swam in over a year & it did feel fairly good.

    SCM

    400 swim
    200 kick
    8x50 -25 kick/swim on :20 rest
    8x50 -25 drill/swim on :20 rest
    2x150 kick on back w/ :30 rest
    12x75 -25 swim/kick/swim on :40 rest
    8x100 DPS w/ paddles -75 free/25back on :30 rest.
    200 easy

    Total -3600m
    20 minutes in the steam room.

    Wow that seems like a rigorous routine. How much time do you think it would help someone drop if they went through all of the steps?

    That depends on their starting point, although if the program is applied consistently then the results should be fairly positive.

    3x (6x50 descend 1-6) on 1:30
    4x100 double arm back. 20 rest.
    3x50 back on 1:00 best average.
    100 easy.

    8x50 on 1:10 descend 1-4.
    3x100 25 build 75 easy on 2:00
    100 strong.
    4x50 DPS on whatever your heart desires.

    Descend stroke counts by sets of 3.
    First 14-15 strokes per 25
    Second 13-14 strokes per 25
    Third 12-13 strokes per 25
    Fourth 10-11 strokes per 25

    3x20 second ankle stretch.
    12x100 DPS on :30 second rest.
    8 year cycle begins.

    Best overall average. (Strong)
    4x50 dolphin kick on back w/ fins 20 sec rest between
