Speedo Fastskin experience?

I need some advice on what size female kneeskin to order. I usually wear a size 34 practice suit (lycra) and have tried on size 26 and 27 Fastskin, but they seem REALLY tight--too tight for comfort. Should I try a size 28 or 29? How tight should they feel? I ordered them online, and supposedly there is a restocking fee of 20%, so I want to make a better-educated guess at my size if I re-order.

It is not supposed to feel comfortable. It is not supposed to be easy to get on. I typically wear a 34 practice suit, and I bought a 27 kneeskin. I tried a 27 "long" but there was puckering around the zipper in back, meaning too much fabric! There should be no gaping, puckering, etc. Yes, you will not believe that you can actually get the thing on. It will be extremely difficult to get over your butt. That is the way it is supposed to be.
