Hey all,

Unfortunately I can't swim in the meet at UMD on the 23rd but I would LOVE to swim in another meet soon.
The meet schedule is basically empty right now.

WILL more meets be coming up soon or is this it?
UGH!!!
I want to compete and show my stuff.hehehe

August is all about Nationals and zone meets. Very liitle else goes on in the pool until the fall. It's the rest period for pool meets. If you really need to compete right now, try open water. There's plenty to do there until the end of September!

Gotcha.I know that these are the only meets now but I was just wondering where the new Fall schedule was posted. It doesn't show on here. Is it too early? Anyone?

October meets didn't start showing up here until late August.

There is one in early Nov in VA Beach. I did it last year and it was a good but small SCM meet.

Sounds fun! My parent's live in Williamsburg so this MAY workout. That's quite a drive though.Err. I need local meets!! (Maryland, PA, Delaware, Jersey, D.C.)
Would you go again this year if they have it?

I think I might go. There are so few SCM meets around so travel is sometimes necessary. Last year, Chris set world records in all 3 distances in back. Amazing to watch.

Who is Chris! That IS amazing! Maybe Dara Torres will be at a meet too.hehe. yeah right! She is so inspiring!

PS-Yeah..hate LCM's! SCM's rule!!
