Please note that you may have received an early copy of the meet events listing where there is no sanction number on it! The event order was not finalized yet so be sure to use the form from the link below with the sanction number 078-S04 on it!

I think the meet announcement says they'll be out on Nov 30th.

Re: 2008 Colonies Zone SCM Championships

So according to the psycho sheets, there are 76 entries in the 1500, which is Sat AM. If everyone swims, that's 10 heats with a 10am start time, and a 30 min warmup time after the 1500. The rest of the meet won't start until mid-afternoon.

I don't like to be overly critical, but...in retrospect, a very bad idea to move the 1500 from Friday without moving up the start time on Saturday.

The good news is, it looks like I don't need to worry about shaving down until Saturday morning.

And I was worried about getting in both my 11 am conference call and my long run before the other events started on Saturday. Looks like I'm ok on both.

"Psycho" sheets. LOVE THAT!

See you all this weekend!

And I get to sleep in and not have to worry about my two hour time zone lag!

Have they posted a timeline? Does anyone know if they will do so before the meet?

Re: 2008 Colonies Zone SCM Championships

I don't know when the timeline will be posted. Friday night we expect to finish around 8pm. Saturday the 1500 free should be from 10am-2pm assuming there is not alot of scratches. The relays will start around 7:14pm Saturday night. Sunday we expect relays to start around 1pm.

I might have to bail on doing any relays on Saturday.

Props to Stud!

I see the psycho sheets have been revised

Woohoo! Speedy fast Fall W. and I are both dirty rotten sandbaggers on the 50 free ...

That is really really late for relays.

Re: 2008 Colonies Zone SCM Championships

Timeline has been added. The upped the sunday warmup to 8AM. I was only staying one night up there but I am glad that I added another night hotel stay. But, if you aren't doing the 1500, at least, you don't have to come til later now.

OK, just a vent , as I already complained once before about the meet event order on a different post....but wow, these 1500s on Saturday are just crazy. This was a really, really bad idea.

After looking at the times on the psych sheets, I may have to attend to see if I can compete at that lavel?

I am so relieved that the meet is over. It was a great meet and there were some National records broken.
