Re: Anyone Tried Swimplan.com?

I followed your link and signed up for it. I think it looks pretty good for solo swimmers. My team swims 4 X per week normally. I usually swim a couple times additional on my own. I'm going to use this and see how it goes. I will report back

Re: Anyone Tried Swimplan.com?

I registered there shortly before I registered here so I only tried out a workout once. After that I started using the various workouts posted on this site.
I have to admit that I totally forgot about that website until now. Thanks for reminding me. The workouts seem quite good.

Re: Anyone Tried Swimplan.com?

I used Swimplan during the month of August in 2008 2-3 times a week. According to my log book, I dropped Swimplan for the USMS posted workouts.
(Back then, you didn't have to be a member to browse through the 4 main workout authors at the top of the Workouts page)
Swimplan was good for me, a beginner, to get into a routine of intervals from just mindless "lap-swimming", however I quickly outgrew it and it just didnt challenge me enough.
My best resource for workouts now, besides my coaches, is the blogs! Im always swiping workouts!
