NJTransit runs trains from New Brunswick (the next town and the station serving Piscataway) to Penn Station, in Midtown Mamhattan. The trains run hourly on weekends and more frequently, depending on time of day, during the week. It's very pleasant 45 minute ride. The schedules are on www.njtransit.com
The last time I took it the round trip fare was about $14. |

I have an opposite situation. My family wants to stay in Midtown manhattan and I want to commute to the meet. Is that possible? Will it work at all?

For what it's worth, I live in Manhattan, but I'll be staying at a hotel in Piscataway because of the early start times. Last edited by KenChertoff; July 19th, 2003 at 12:05 PM. |
