Knox County YMCA in Galesburg, IL is having a IM Spectacular Fitness Event from July- August 2004. The event is to raise money for the renovation of the Y's pool. It is a great way to do a different event or to really challenge yourself. It is a lot better than swimming free for one hour. You can take breaks between IM's and still do a great work out. Thanks!

WE JUST HAD TO REPLACE A $1,500 PUMP ON OUR POOL. THAT IS MONEY TAKEN AWAY FORM OUR RENOVATION. PLEASE HELP BY SWIMMING THIS EVENT!

Everyone!!!! HELP!!!!! We need entries. So far only one other person besides me has sent in an application. the Y needs to raise lots of money. this is a great way to help promote swimming in an area that doesn't totally se the importance of swimming programs. Here in western Illinois, it

I'm sorry to report that no onetook up my offer. I was the only one who swam this fitness event. I did 15 100 IM in a half hour & 9 200 meter IM in an hour. I raised over $100. because I got peole to pledge money for each IM I swam.
