Debbie Meyer-3 golds in 68'

Join Olympic Legend Debbie Meyer at the Sierra Nevada Open Water Swim

3-time Olympic Gold Medalist Debbie Meyer will conduct a pre-race swim clinic on Friday August 20th at 8pm at the Orchard Springs Resort on Rollins Lake near Colfax, CA. The clinic is free to all and promises to offer technique instruction, competitive tips, open water skill development. Debbie will also be the honorary starter for the open water competitions at 1.2 and 2.4 miles on Saturday August 21st. In the 1968 Olympic Games, sixteen-year-old Debbie Meyer was the first swimmer to win three gold medals in one Olympic Games. She suffered from asthma in childhood, but broke twenty world records and was inducted into the Olympic Hall of Fame. Currently Debbie runs the Debbie Meyer Swim School in Sacramento, CA.
