Now that the meet entry is available in Swim Magazine, shouldn't the meet information and entry form be posted on the website in a more accessible location? Right now, it's only avaible by being in this Discussion Forum in a link in Laura's original post. Nationals are only 10 weeks away.

Also, it's never too early start setting up the on-line registration. It looked like that option was not availabe for Hawaii until right before the deadline to enter. I understand the difficulties of online registration in terms of payment (needing a credit card account) and for signing the liability release. Therefore, if it's not feasible to have online registration, then we should probably put that in the information as soon as possible so people won't wait to see if it becomes available later.

It is all being evaluated and tested now, and hopefully will be publicly available this week. I've been running behind on getting the regular info available in multiple formats and the merchant account was recently approved for on line entries. On line registration WILL BE available and is encouraged.

For the future, we hope to get one permanent merchant account for USMS approved at convention this year so that each nationals meet host doesn't have to go through the same setup difficulties for a merchant account every time. Of course, that will require budget approval and figuring out who will do the accounting for this new merchant system (today it is the meet host's responsibility).
