Hello fellow 'tar heels'

One of the swimmers on the South Rowan High School team I help coach is also an officer in the school's Interact Club (Rotary), and an Eagle Scout candidate. For his Eagle Scout project he has organized a 'Polio Plus Relay Swim Meet' to be held on Saturday February 26th at the South Rowan YMCA in China Grove, NC. The meet is not sanctioned by any organization, and as such, is open to all comers who want to put together teams. Teams should consist of between 4 to 8 swimmers (men and women). Events will include 200, 400, and 800 yd medley and freestyle relays, and 200 yard butterfly, breaststroke and backstroke relays, as well as a 4x100 IM relay.

This is a great kid, and as anyone with Rotary connections will know, a great cause. Send me a private message if you would like more information, or to participate. Thank you,

Joe G.

Here's the registration form that the student organizer for this upcoming fund raising event (in China Grove, NC) put together. You'll see that it is primarily geared to students, though participation by and and all who might be interested is welcomed. As such, feel free to print the form off and pass it along to anyone you think might be interested. If you have any questions, the student organizer's name and phone number are on the form. Thank you,
