went over to Scottsdale-Eldorado for a mostly solo workout this morning. I stole the first bit (mostly) from Speedo's workout yesterday, then did a Swimsuit_Addict-esque sandwich set at the end....

200 warmdown
actually felt pretty good in the water. I usually just do a long thoughtless warm-up that the 5 x 200 kept me awake a little.
I can't remember what Speedo's 75's were, but I didn't like it, so I subbed in breast. I got 10-15 sec rest on each of them.
I think the 50s pull were what he did, but with a snorkel, mine wasn't anywhere near my swim bag, so I tried to build each 50 pull. I haven't done fast pull stuff for ages
I probably could have done the 150s on 2:15 or 2:20, I got 20-25 sec rest. but I rather enjoyed a little rest, and tried to really take the breast leg strong.
at some point in there (I think during my 150s), there was an alarm going off. there's a gym near the pool, and all the people who were working out in there came out. I asked the guy in the next lane if we had to do anything, he said the lifeguard hadn't said anything. I just pushed off on my next interval, and eventually the alarm went off.
met my friend Sal after work for a run, but I really didn't feel too good. could have been the weather, something I ate, my tmill run from last night, my swim from this morning, or any combination of those.

didn't really feel like the usual run, so we did a loop around Tempe Town Lake. it was extremely windy when we were headed west (the first and last bits).
I don't know how, but I forgot to start my Garmin. I checked just before we hit Mill Ave and saw it on 0, so started it then. probably missed .7 to 1.0 mile in there.
the rest of the run was just ho-hum, survival.
