went up to Kino for the AM masters workout
Paul coached solo

I didn't feel quite as bad this morning as I did last night. but I'm thinking it probably wasn't the wisest thing to run and lift Monday night. but that doesn't mean I won't do it again today. just not as intense if I do though, and definitely more walking mixed in with the run.

shared a lane with just one gal, and we circled. I felt pretty decent on all the early sets, and even into the early part of the 2k. but I wasn't feeling it, and thought of bailing early. she always has to leave about 10 min early, so I figured I'd at least swim until she got out. then I thought I'd do 1-2 more. and by that point I figured, I'm almost there...
I set a goal to hold the 50s all around 35. initially I held 3:00 on each 200, including rest, but I don't think that continued beyond the 3rd round. Paul wanted the focus to be on the 50s, so that's where I kept it, even when I wasn't feeling it. my 150s definitely slowed down.


PHX reached a record high of 82F yesterday! it was a bit warmer this morning than usual, air temps in the 50s. water felt a bit warm too.
