was running a little late and was worried that the pool might be busy. actually when I got there I was worried they were even open, only a few cars...and I had my pick of lanes. school is done now for Chandler, so maybe that's why the parking lot was so empty.

this was about one of my ideal solo swims. a nice warm-up, kicking, drills, some aerobic work, and some stroke. hadn't done a solo swim for a few weeks, and it was nice to just do my own thing (don't get me wrong, I do enjoy swimming with the team).

after a few days of long course, swimming yards just felt really short. those first few walls seemed to come up very quickly.

I'll do spin class tonight, with some weights before it. kind of nice now that my body is somewhat getting used to weights and not all sore all the time (I still get a little sore a day after).
