Bit o' kick play

I didn't have time to do the correct version of workout #2 - http://forums.usms.org/showthread.ph...s-for-Portland - so this was inspired by that true workout:
- 1 x 100: whatever
- 16 x 100: on 1:25, free, done in sets of 4, roughly descending each 4
- 1st 4 w/buoy, paddles, snorkel
- 2nd 4 w/buoy, snorkel
- 3rd 4 w/snorkel
- 4th 4 swim
- 1 x 50: easy
- 3 rounds of 6 x 50 on 1:00 with extra 0:10 rest after each round, done as
- 1 x 50: AFAP kick, call the time RACEKICK
- 1 x 50: easy w/snorkel
- 4 x 50: aiming for:
- #1 to #3 are descend kick, trying to hit RACEKICK + 0:10, RACEKICK + 0:05, RACEKICK
- #4 is easy
- where I did round 1 as dolphin/flutter, round 2 as dolphin/breast, round 3 as breast/flutter
- 1 x 100: easy
TOTAL: 2,750 SCM
Comments:
- This did the trick for a workout, but I'm looking forward to hopefully swimming longer tomorrow and then getting in a good yoga session on Sunday and a dip into the new lap pool at the JCC (which was to have opened this week).
