Even if we can't go out because of the stay at home recommendation - I'm going out to my Vette, start it up and just sit in it to enjoy myself.

I hope your Audi runs better than our Q7. It was in the shop 14 times for electrical problems!!! All were fixed by the dealer under an EXTENTED WARRANTY .
The last one was the L E D turn signals went out and cost $1,100 to replace and then the other one went out 4 weeks later for $1,200
. We sold it before the warranty ran out. Other than those, the Audi ran mechanically great.
We were in Istanbul 4 years ago and stayed at a hotel called "the White House"

Finally!!! I took the Vette out of winter storage and drove 72 miles just doing errands. Needed to refresh myself on where all the controls and navigation was.

2020 Tour de France is being held with very limited fans as NO motorized vehicles on 17 stages outside of towns & villages this Crazy Covid-19 year.
Many walk or ride bikes to view the racers at the best points or not at all. It is also is held in September . This race was started in 1903.

Re: What are the cars/bikes/cycles you drive?

I see ads in the Tour de France race 2020 that they are selling pro bicycles after they use them.
That would be a great bike to own that was prepared and used in the absolute top tier of racing.
I wonder if anyone has checked the prices?

O K this is as far from swimming as I think it can be.
I just purchased a Z turn John Deere lawn mower for more than my 1 st car. also more than my Trek carbon Ironman bike!

The shocks for my race car cost more than my race car did, if that helps you feel any better!

I'm sorry, I just saw this. I have a lot of cars, but I was talking about my road course car. Started life as a 944 Turbo. I've now converted it to a 944S. Makes less power, but for the same class (SP3 in PCA), I can run at 2400 pounds, rather than 2900. The main reason I swapped, though, was a 30 year old turbocharged German car isn't the pinnacle of reliability. I just got tired of not finishing. And unfortunately, I haven't been able to drive it in several years, as the kids just take all my time. But I paid $3800 for the car, though to be fair, it was a project because of a horrible paint job, and the market was soft back then (2009). The shocks are about $5000.
