the Elgin Centre is open with reservations as is Meinke park district in Schaumburg.
How come many pools are now open to reservations and the Bartlett P D has not a hint of opening??
Today I just made my 1st "reservations" for swims at The Centre in Elgin. 3 next week and 3 the following week.
They are at 2 hour intervals with swim time of 1 1/2 hour and 30 min. to sanitize the area for the next swimmers.
No locker room, showers or towels.

Norris center pools are open in St. Charles for use. Call to arrange times.
My noon swim time was ok when I finally figured how to enter the building. They open the doors AT the swim time not before.
If public pools are to open for lap swimming, then they may have to follow USA Swimming’s lead with mandating social distancing, but that may become difficult for the pools to police.
We don’t hide from any virus and if they don’t gather in groups and get directly in the pool they should be fine.
There is no evidence that the virus can live in chlorine. People do not know about all of the outcomes of this virus.
Well as of 11/22 our pool closed team practice for the team here in Ill.
We were doing ok with 2-3 per lane but, now only appt.
times are accepted with only 1 per lane for 45 minutes.
